Helping Small Business Excel in Greater Orlando

There's a particular kind of business around here that does everything right and still loses work to a competitor with a worse product and a better website.

The lawn guy whose yards look immaculate, whose site is a Facebook page. The contractor with thirty years of craftsmanship and no way to show it. The rink that three generations grew up in, with no clear way to book a birthday party.

We build for those businesses. Here's some of what that's looked like across greater Orlando this year.

Blowin' Grass Lawncare — Ocoee

Jason Handley quotes the yard and cuts the yard. That's the whole pitch, and it's a real advantage over companies sending rotating crews — so the site says it in the first screen, with Jason's photo and his own words: I quote it, I cut it.

Underneath that, the practical things homeowners actually want before they call. Three monthly plans with real prices on the page — $150, $195, $280 — so nobody has to request a quote to find out what it costs. The service area named town by town: Apopka, Ocoee, Windermere, Oakland, Clermont, Minneola, Groveland. Six five-star Google reviews pulled onto the page. A form that asks for the address and which plan they're interested in.

Crib Mods — Lake & Orange County

David's line is that people hire people before they hire companies, and a home improvement site is an unusual place to lead with a person. We did it anyway, because it's true and because it's what separates him from a faceless remodeling firm — you're inviting someone into your house.

The rest of the site is built to remove the two things homeowners are afraid of: an unclear scope, and a crew that trashes the place. A seven-step walkthrough from consultation to final inspection. Certifications stated plainly. A project gallery deep enough to browse — kitchens, a hand-built barn door, a floating staircase, vaulted ceilings. And an honest answer to whether he'll take a small job, because most people asking are trying to work out whether their one broken door is worth a call.

Roots of Purpose — Minneola

A coaching practice with a real framework behind it, which is harder to put on a website than a service list. The problem isn't explaining the work — it's that visitors arrive at wildly different stages, from something feels off to I'm ready to commit to six months.

So the homepage doesn't sell. It sorts. Five plain-language options, each pointing somewhere different: an e-book, a quiz, a group cohort, a single session, the podcast. Nobody gets pushed toward the expensive thing, and nobody bounces because there was only one door.

Semoran Skateway — Orlando

A roller rink that opened in 1978 and never stopped. Same maple floor, same hand-drawn wordmark, and local elementary schools still running their skate nights on it — Eastbrook, Lakemont, Aloma, Dommerich, Red Bug, Keith. We built a page around a column from the rink's own 1977 calendar, because the schools and the nights are largely the same ones. That isn't nostalgia decoration. It's the reason parents trust the place.

The working parts of the site serve two people: a parent deciding what to do tonight, and a parent booking a party. So the homepage answers what's on tonight and what's coming up before anything else, staff publish events themselves the moment they're booked, and the waiver every adult signs is linked from the top of every page so nobody stands in line filling out paperwork.

What these have in common

None of them are templates. Every one is hand-coded, which is why they load fast and rank well — and why each looks like the business it belongs to rather than like the others.

And all four are built around one question: what is the person who lands here actually trying to do? Book a party. Find out what the lawn service costs. Work out if the contractor takes small jobs. The design follows from that answer, not the other way around.
