Terms and Conditions
Last updated July 2026
1. Our Contract
These terms and conditions apply to all purchases, subscriptions, and engagements made through each.life, LLC. By placing an order, subscribing to a plan, or engaging our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.
A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation, a signed statement of work, or when a subscription payment is successfully processed. We reserve the right to decline any order or subscription at our discretion.
2. Pricing and Availability
All prices are quoted in US Dollars and are subject to change without notice until a formal agreement is signed or a subscription is activated. We make every effort to ensure pricing accuracy. In the event of a pricing error, we will notify you and provide the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel.
Prices shown on our regional pages are quoted in local currency for reference. Final pricing is confirmed in your agreement or at checkout.
3. Payment
Payment terms are outlined in each project proposal, invoice, or subscription plan. For project-based work, we typically require a deposit before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon completion or at agreed-upon milestones. For subscription plans, payment is processed automatically at the start of each billing period via Stripe.
We accept payment via Stripe (credit and debit cards) and other methods as agreed upon in your project proposal. All payment processing is handled securely through Stripe.
Late payments on project-based work may incur additional fees as outlined in your project agreement.
4. Refund Policy
Due to the custom nature of our services, refunds are handled as follows.
Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable for the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing cycle.
Annual subscriptions may be cancelled within 30 days of any annual charge, including renewals, for a full refund of that charge. After 30 days, the annual payment is non-refundable and service continues through the end of the paid period.
Deposits for custom project work are non-refundable, as they cover initial scoping, planning, and resource allocation.
If you are unsatisfied with our work, we will work with you to make it right.
5. Subscription Plans
each.life offers subscription-based services billed monthly or annually, including hosting plans, custom website plans, and other managed services. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the next renewal date.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Service, including hosting, continues until that date, after which the site is taken offline.
Annual plans are billed once per year and are subject to the 30-day refund window described in Section 4.
6. Selling Through Your Site
each.life lets you sell digital downloads and physical products directly through your each.life website stack. We take no commission and no platform fee on your sales. All sales are processed through Stripe Connect as direct charges to your own connected Stripe account — the money is yours from the moment of sale. After each sale, Stripe deducts its standard processing fee, which varies by country and card type; the remainder settles into your Stripe account and pays out on your Stripe payout schedule, or instantly for Stripe's standard instant-payout fee. You are the seller and merchant of record for everything you sell through each.life. You are responsible for connecting your Stripe Connect account, for fulfilment, shipping, returns, and customer service on physical products, and for any applicable sales tax or VAT. Because charges are direct, chargebacks and refunds are handled by your Stripe account. For print-on-demand you connect your own provider account, and that provider bills you for production and shipping. each.life provides the storefront, tools, and payment rails; we do not hold your funds as principal or act as the seller of your goods.
External sales channels. Any sales through third-party platforms are handled entirely by those services. Your each.life application may link out to them. each.life does not process, sell, or fulfill those items.
7. Your Content
You retain full ownership of all photos, text, and other content you provide to each.life for use on your site ("Your Content").
By providing Your Content, you grant each.life, LLC a limited, non-exclusive license to host, display, and deliver Your Content solely for the purpose of operating your website.
You represent and warrant that:
- You own or have the right to use all content you provide
- Your content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
- Your content does not violate any applicable laws
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
8. Domain Ownership
Your domain name is yours. each.life does not own or control your domain. You are responsible for renewing your domain registration. If your domain expires, your site will go offline.
If you cancel your subscription, your domain remains yours. You may take your domain and content elsewhere at any time.
9. Cancellation
9.1 Cancellation by You
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.
Upon cancellation, your site will remain live until the end of the billing period, after which hosting will be discontinued.
9.2 Cancellation by Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Fail to pay your subscription fee
- Violate these Terms
- Use the service for unlawful purposes
We will provide reasonable notice before terminating an account except in cases of serious violations.
9.3 30-Day Data Window
If cancelled within the first 30 days, all custom build files are deleted. Content — text, photos, and any other data supplied by the client — remains the client's property and can be exported on request before deletion.
10. Service Availability
We aim to keep your site available at all times but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control may cause temporary downtime. We will notify you of planned maintenance where possible.
11. Intellectual Property
11.1 Platform IP
The Website Admin, Hannah, custom implementations and integrations, design system, and all associated software are the intellectual property of each.life, LLC. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or redistribute any part of the platform.
11.2 Project Work
For project-based engagements, upon full payment you will own all custom code, content, and design assets created specifically for your project. each.life retains the right to showcase the work in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
12. Ownership and What You Keep
Your content and data. All content you provide or generate — text, images, audio, video, logos, customer records, order history, and mailing lists — remains your property at all times. You may request an export at any point during or after your subscription. Where required by law, including Article 20 of the General Data Protection Regulation for clients in the European Union, personal data will be provided in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
Your domain. Domains registered in your name remain yours regardless of subscription status.
Our platform. The each.life platform — including the Website Admin and Console applications, database schemas, server-side workers, shared component libraries, and any tooling reused across clients — remains the property of each.life and does not transfer under any circumstances.
Your site build. After twelve (12) months of continuous, paid service, the front-end build of your site — the HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and image assets produced specifically for you — becomes yours to keep. On cancellation after that point, we will provide a static export that you may host anywhere. If you cancel before twelve months of continuous service, you retain your content and data, but the site build does not transfer.
Platform-dependent features. Features that depend on our platform — including the Website Admin, the Console, e-commerce and checkout functions, CRM integrations, and distribution services — are part of the service and end when the subscription ends. A static export preserves the appearance and content of your site, but not these functions.
Custom applications. Bespoke applications, integrations, and software developed outside the standard subscription plans are governed by their own written agreement and are not subject to this section.
13. Limitation of Liability
each.life, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of our services.
