Augmented Reality Recordings is a German electronic label, founded in early 2020, built around Dub Techno. Seventeen artists from around the world. Releases from Subchord, Felix Kowalski, Wet Basement — and most recently Smoor's Second Spark.
Marc Vasquez directs the label. The new site is live: augmented-reality-recordings.com.

A label has the artist problem, times seventeen
A catalog. A roster. Release after release, scattered across platforms that each take a cut and keep the listener.
A marketplace page is a storefront on somebody else's street — at 15% of every sale, forever.
Built on Console
- Every release, every artist, one site. Release and artist pages come out of the Console — unlimited, added by the label, not by us.
- The player on every release. The whole catalog, heard without leaving the site.
- Direct downloads at 0% commission. Paid to the label's own Stripe. ~3% processing, and that's it.
- Built for a German label. Demo policy, Impressum, Datenschutz — the basics, done right.
Bandcamp and SoundCloud are still linked. They feed the site now instead of replacing it.
Why it matters more for labels
One artist losing 15% hurts. A label loses it on every release, for every act on the roster, for as long as the catalog sells. Own the store once, and the whole catalog keeps what it earns.
